East Coast Performing Arts started 5 years ago in Orange City, under the direction of Cara Lundquist.  This is a family built dance studio where we provide a 2nd home for our students.  We have an excellent staff fully trained in all genres of dance.  Our teachers are constantly continuing their education and certifications to provide the best dance education they can to our dancers in the community. 

The faculty works as a team to create the dream! We believe the students we teach should be well rounded in all subjects of dance, tumble and the arts. We teach our students the importance of balance and priorities. When our dancers are juggling school work, family time and additional extra-curricular activities, we place importance on academics and family. It takes strong positive character, drive with the right mind set, setting goals, and pushing limits to persevere through it all. We are much more than a dance studio when teaching our children lifelong lessons, through their adolescent journey in a healthy and soulful environment for the arts. When choosing the dance studio right for you and your dancer, think about the education they are learning and the families you want them to be around.  Realize it is more than just a dance class, rather an investment for their future. Make the right choice when selecting from the different studios in your area. It will be important for their well-being and younger years. Dancers at ECPA meet lifetime friends and mentors that will guide them to succeed. 

In the past, our studio has donated to many schools within our community, volunteered at events, performed within our community at special events for Relay for Life, July 4th excitement, Fall festivals, Athens Theater, Daytona News Journal, Civic Ballet Nutcracker, and for the Orlando Magic Half-Time Show! We give our students as much opportunity as possible. Recently our studio won “Studio of the Year!” at Shake the Ground National Talent Competition for our sportsmanship, grace and kindness. We are very proud of our dancers and we hope you can see that as you choose ECPA to be the studio for your family!
