Erika is currently in her 6th year teaching. She began teaching after high school, because of her love for dance and passion for teaching children. In addition to teaching at our East Coast Performing Arts, Erika is also a substitute teacher at the Ivy Hawn Performing Arts School. Erika has trained in all subjects of dance for over 20 years. She teaches all ages and genres of dance at East Coast Performing Arts, however she has a special love and tenderness for the “Broadway Baby Program,” which she continues to build beautiful dancers from ages 3 to 5. The children absolutely love her charisma and energy! As a dancer, Erika won multiple awards and scholarships that sent her to study over the summer in New York City and California. As a teacher, Erika also has been a competition instructor with ECPA for the past 5 years and has won numerous choreography and specialty awards.
